I have an issue about duck hunting. I am in a 4 man blind with 3 other people. 2 are great, one is being an ass. He has been shooting over limit of Pintails and stuffing them in his backpack and pretending he still doesnt have a limit. What I would like to know is if all four of us are in the blind and he shoots over limits of Pintail who gets cited? We have repeatedly told him not to if we catch him doing it. I shoot and retrieve my own ducks as do the other 2 hunters in the blind.Any suggestions? Kicking him out of the blind is an option for next year but not the rest of this one.

I'm no Hojoman, but you have a few options assuming you have explained to him that what he is doing is irresponsible, unethical, and illegal.
1: don't hunt with him
2: kick him out of the blind
3: turn him in
4: all of the above

5.  Shoot him & stuff him in the bag ... always an option, just not one I'd suggest.

I only post what Fish & Wildlife puts on its website. I'm not familiar with hunting. However, good question for you to put to Carrie Wilson at [email protected].

I would not want to be busted for someone else's misbehavior. So I would either kick him out of the blind if he is not an agreed-to partner for the season or simply not hunt with him.

You know he is breaking the law and you are hunting with him, if I was the LEO I would cite all of you and let the Judge sort it out.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
