Watch out for Johnny law! They frown on shooting pellet guns in city limits.

They are legal to take with a .177 now too, btw.

Shoot one and eat it to be sure you like the flavor.  They don't have the fat a domestic bird has and can be quite dry.  Wrapping in bacon helps a lot!

I start by brineing the bird for 24 to 48 hours in a fridge, then  I loosen the breast skin and shove tabs of butter under there before laying bacon on the bird, cover in cheesecloth and place in the smoker at 250 for 90 minutes.
