Kokanee rigs

Just finished tying a few flies and koke rigs. Rain now looking to fish Friday.

Here is my new kokanee rig...emuline
It is Multiple explosive cartridges attached to a continuous length of detonating cord for kokanee fishing. Colors don't really matter.

do they belly-up proper like when they "bite" your new lure??

Clorox Bleach is less noisy.

Explosive top water action! They blow up on this bait.

More old school: Buckeyes slashed several time and dropped in the water. Takes a LOT for a large lake, though.

Buckeyes in a burlap sack, or walnut hulls, and smack with a rock/hammer and drop into a deep pocket in a stream. Good to go.

Love tying my own kokanee rigs as well.  I have had great luck with just beads and a flasher.  Thanks for sharing! 

These work... 

A bobbin threader for fly tying works freaking awesome. Simply slide your components in reverse order thread the line through and slide it off.

great idea with that threader.
now if I could only get those little f'ers to bite
