Decided to try to start making my own compound bow strings.
Made this jig for starters.
Still waiting for a different spring ( one in which I know the rating ) and a scale so I can measure up to 300 pounds of tension.
Both sets of arms pivot 90 degrees ( I have the other posts removed as I am stretching a factory string in the pics ). When the arms pivot I can do the end servings real easy...yea right.
I have all the materials, just waiting for those two parts.
I'll let ya know how it goes once I crank out my first set.
