Had my first trip off Monterey back in November in a borrowed Tarpon 140.  A seal wouldn't leave us be in the kelp so we really had to fight for a few rockfish.  Paddled out to the mile buoy to fill in the bag with some sand dabs. Just picked up my own Trident 15 this week.  Need to eat all the fish in the freezer before taking more, but up for some buddy paddles until then.
