go to a kayak rental place like kayak connection or monterey kayaks and see if they have a used one for sell. I got mine (a farmer john wetsuit) hardly used for 20 bucks from monterey kayaks in Moss Landing.

I'm auditioning for a new reality fishing tv show called "naked and fishing", so I don't wear anything.
I don't like stuff that sucks.

Panty hose.  Besides less chaffing, makes donning and doffing less of a struggle.

I wear a drysuit, now.  I still have the wetsuit to use in the rivers and small lakes, but I wear a water-resistant nylon jacket on top.  A wet wetsuit in the breeze is an evaporative cooler.

I use a rash guard as a base layer under either one.  Other layers as appropriate.

Seriously? Not one " I go naked" reply!

It was a topic nobody wanted to touch.

I wear a dry suit with layering for warmth underneath.  Dress for immersion not the air temps.

There's no dive shops near me any more.

Where's a good place to go? I live in Union City.
Try a kayak shop near you....they can often help you find the right size and can order them.

Usually when I get home I can't wait to rip my wife's panties off...   hate how they bunch up.  :smt044

Kokatat Angler drysuit for the salt.
Kokatat Tempest Jacket and Pants for local bay area lakes.
Layer accordingly.

I gave up on a farmer john wetsuit after experiencing being warn and dry wearing Kokatat clothing.   Those built in socks are awesome.

I like that Kokatat 2-piece jacket/pant solution so much I just ordered a set!   Saving for the suit if I like them.

And as a hidden bonus, I think the Tempest pants will make a fabulous pair of lightweight backcountry waders!!!
Fish laugh when I paddle by.  Sometimes they laugh so hard they fall on my hook.

I wear a 4/3 mm wetsuit and a sweatshirt and my life jacket. Sometimes two or three sweatshirts if it's really chilly.
you should avoid anything cotton while OTW. I used to do it, until i dropped it into the water at the end of the day. It weighed a ton!! Invest in a rashgaurd, some fleece wear and a real paddeling jacket ASAP. Then we'll let you and Nick into the SSSC.  :smt002
