Hi guys,

Last minutes travel plan to Honolulu on New Year.   Would love to spend a day kayak fishing there if I can rent a kayak and fishing tackles from a local fishing/diving shop there.  Any intel or suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Sonny
Ask Boogie-d. He is one of the guys on the Pacific Warriors show and lives on Oahu.

I found his post here but can't send him PM since he's not register (guest user).

Post your question on the LCKA Facebook page and I'll tag him.

Thanks Crash.  Will do that...

My man Nic G moved from Humboldt to Maui with his wife and baby several months ago, and now he's all into the yak fishing and has a sweet mothership - he might know some Oahu opportunities too...   I think he's most easily contacted through Facebook - try a private message to him or post in Lost Coast Kayak Anglers.  Please tell him I sent you.  Have a great trip!   :smt001

Thanks Eric.  I just registered at the Lost Coast Kayak Anglers and look for his name on the member list but can't find Nic G.  What's his handle there?
His name is Nicholas Gadoodauemauss or something.

Thanks Ben.  His name is Nicholas A. Gadouas and I found him on LCKA's Facebook.

What's wrong with Turkey sandwich?  Are you speaking from past experience?

hate to break it to you, the look wasn't bc you were asking around about yakfishing :smt044

good luck sonny.

Ha! It was probably because I'm a Hauli. I had a great time there, but I can't say I felt terribly welcome...

Have fun Sonny. If your are able to hook-up with Boogie-d, you can tell him, that your buddy on the mainland made a trailer kinda like his. If he wants his to be able carry three kayaks, give me a call, I'll send pictures.               Happy New Year Sonny.                  Dave...
