Yup, I was browsing the SUPs last week and Cass told me they aren't able to host it this year--but plan to do it again in 2017.

Yup, I was browsing the SUPs last week and Cass told me they aren't able to host it this year--but plan to do it again in 2017.

Let's make our own! I was looking forward towards this one... I'm in for talking with some companies I know of to support something, I know it may be a late notice, but I have some ideas in mind.. Maybe if not a tourney at least a fish and chill? I can call some contacts, may even be able to get a kayak as a prize..

Bushy... If you read this, I know KC is mainly your tourney but want to do a Santa Cruz related tourney? I'll call ya to see if you are in, if anyone would be interested, would you rather the first or second weekend of May?

Short notice same day as Shelter Cove but that registration is closed its just a tad farther north as well. Second Annual Tillamook Bay May Day (TBMD2) Saturday May 21st Garibaldi Oregon. Three categories with 1,2,3 places so 9 total placing, total weight in salmon, crabs, all other legal fish.

we still have  p.i.f  and time goes by real quick ,maybe  i'm going steer our efforts and resources into helping --food prize-help...for us at least
I too had asked about having more help for a Monterey side of the bay yearly event,when /if it did not step on the mbk toes or offend Allen and was told at that time 2yrs back that they were again on it and they had it last yr

I think my comment of S.C in the above post was not typed well-I was asking if there was a.) no mbk this year and also no S.C at Daves etc...this year..both are X now?

As far as another or back up -wording is delicate lol -anyways a yearly monterey derby ..m.b.f  or f-n-chill --or more serious
We would be willing to help out also and have some thoughts about fun spots and camp facilities etc...scouted it and thought about size and permits

Pretty neat list. Happy I have been able to make it more often
Just throwing this out there but what about a sturgeon fishing derby? I can see it now. Kayaks all along the delta anchored and waiting for big one lol
