How did I get involved in this Antonio. 

Read the hystercl comments in the youtube.  Deterrence from the EMF generated by movement of the band through the ambient geoelectric field.  Perhaps a voltage is created (maybe/maybe not).  But they're relying on that as the sole, life-sparing deterrent?!  Yeahhhhhhhhhh, no.
