Just wanted to say that using totes seems like a good way to go to store your stuff on deck.  You probably saw the pics of the other trip on the Islander if your going on this trip. We had stuff piled all over the place  :smt044  And don't forget to put your name on everything, or mark your stuff so it's distinguishable!  :smt002

I think on this last trip, we had the most stuff, and was the most disorganized that I have seen so far, and far more "lost stuff" as a result.  Try to get all your stuff in one tote, and stack loose stuff (or tackle boxes or bait tanks) on top top of your tote instead of throwing it all around.  Stuff you don't need to get to regularly (extra batteries, or that 2nd backup tackle box that you just won't use), store down below in your cabin.

If you're still stocking up for this trip, 1/0 live bait hooks seemed to be the perfect size this year. A pack or two of size 1, 1/0, and 2/0 would get you through this trip.

I also learned not to put too much flouro on little spinning reels. I was using a pretty stiff flouro (Seaguar yellow label) and every time I'd release the bail to let my sardine swim away all of it would just pour off of my reel.
