Two spots open. Empty Pockets, you're up if you're still interested.

Don't have time to read old threads but my interest was peaked when you said divers have been on trip.  What exactly is everyone fishing for?  Chance for yellowtail, tuna or WSB?  If so I  will pay right now.

If the waters are warmer there, like last year, there is probably a greater possibility of yellowtail and tuna. Not sure how shallow tuna will go. White sea bass is always a possibility. Also not sure if there are other divers signed up here. I believe there is one, maybe two, on the longer trip.

Thanks.  It would be helpful to have other divers out there.  I was down south a couple months ago and saw 100's of yellowtail but the weather turned and we had to cancel the trip.  It's been haunting me ever since.  Need to make it back down south for a do over.

Hojo is right. Main targets are halibut, calico bass, sheepshead, and whitefish....but there is always a chance at WSB and yellowtail. Last year there were a ton of bonito and quite a few of the smaller yellowtail around.

And the viz can be "ok" too.

Two years ago Kiel and I were sight fishing for sheepshead that were on the bottom..........in 42 feet of water.

That's awesome.  Unless another serious diver who plans on being in the water a lot steps up I will have to pass for now.  Better to have someone who will keep an eye out on each other.  Still interested in shooting some halibut and looking into a sweet underwater camera set up so will keep an eye on this thread as a possibility.

Thanks for the info

The two spots are available.

You were one of the original members who showed interest in this trip. It'd be great to have you and your son aboard.

The spots are yours if you want them. You can Paypal $625pp to paypal.me/dustinsneed and it's a done deal.
