New Member From Santa Rosa

I just wanted to say hello with my first post.  I was camping at Clear Lake when you had your last club tournament.  My wife and I rode our bicycles to the swimming beach and tried out a few of the kayaks that were being demonstrated.  It was a great time.  It sure sounded like you guys had a great evening.  We could hear the festivities after dinner from our camp site.  I spoke to a few of the guys on the beach and had a good conversation with a member that let me check out his yak at the edge of the swimming beach.  Really nice guy and gave me some good information.  I would have gotten more but he had to run to  the outhouse  .  Anyway, I bought a Hobie Revolution that was used 2 times from a friend.  He gave me an extra set of turbo fins, a set of Hobie launch wheels and an almost new boat for 1K.  With that savings I bought a new Hobie Outback and gave the Revo to my wife.  I have many, many years of ocean and freshwater fishing experience.  I have owned 8 Boston Whalers, 1 Proline, 1 Sea-ox and two Zodiac's.  Now I"m back to a yak.  Looking forward to seeing some of you guys on the lakes and beach.  I am retired and can fish any day of the week.  This is a great site guys/gals and look forward to being more involved and posting my first pics and fishing reports.
