Time for a new pair of boots, my redwings have had 3 new soles put on them and they are ready to be retired. Ive been trying other brands and so far have not found any that fit width wise.

Anyone else been through this?

aloha,

What type of Redwing boot and use?

I wear 13EE.  Redwing fire boots were great for the job. I have a year on my Gortex Vasque Wasatch and they are comfy as all get out on the trail, still look new.

I throw the boots away and wear the box! Just kidding, I have a pair of timberland hiking boots after work. I am a 10EEE.

I'm 8.5 EEE... and I'm not kidding, most comfortable boots I've ever owned came from walmart. I respect red wings and all, but these wide feet love Walmart!

Danner Grouse Hunters 13 EEE,   best $265.00 I ever spent on  boots.  You can get EE.
Only my 2nd pair in all these years, rebuildable.

Im rocking a 6" pair of redwings at 11EE in a soft toe. Its one of the widest base pairs they have, pretty much any other model I have tried in redwings I need a EEE.

Just got a pair of danner mountain pass 12EE and they crush  :smt010 It seems like danner doesnt make many boots in EEE, where did you get yours from barefoot1?

I got them from All Safety Gear, (http://www.allsafetygear.com),  I believe.  They had the best price but terrible reviews.  I had no problem with them.  You can order directly from Danner.  Not all of their boots come with all size options.  I had an operation on my toes and it increased my 11.5's to 12.5's!  Otherwise I would never have gotten rid of my 11.5's.  I just saw a Midway USA add today for some Under Armor boots in 12.5 and 13 but no choice in width.  I ordered 13's to make room for thick socks and am real happy.
