Helping Sledge

Just got a call from Tiny. He has offered up his camo T-13 that once belonged to Ravensblack for $400. I think it would be perfect for Sledge. So please help us get to $400 and thanks for helping brother Sledge.
  ps. it doesn't have a seat so if anyone could get us a deal on a seat then please post up.

I've talked to Sledge a few times recently at Ocean cove.

Thanks all for your kindness and generosity. TW you can mail me a check. My address is on page 1 of this thread. I will also be at the north bay ncka christmas/sushi gathering in petaluma on mon dec 14. I am hoping to get Sledge to come also so we can surprise him with his kayak there.

Anyone who has gone through what sledge is currently going through knows that recovery is the shits.  Hitting the bottom is necessary, but is becomes tolerable when your own help you.   It usually get worse before it gets better. I hope this is one step in the path back for sledge.   Jack, thanks for stepping up and suggesting this action.   This is NCKA at it's best.  I'll send $100.00 tomorrow.

Damn I missed the opportunity to get in on this! Sledge truly has a heart of gold, and like most of us, fishing is now thankfully his drug of choice. I really think having the ability to fish will allow him to continue his sobriety and keep making steps in the right direction. You the man for putting this together Jack. If any additional cash is needed to pimp out his yak let us know and I'll send you a check. Bravo!
