     Does he get a reprieve , for time spent with good behavior?       I'm sending him a bilge pump,,, cuz he's been underwater before.

I know first hand that alcoholism is truly a nasty bitch and effects everyone around them. I completely understand the recognition and commitment it takes to change ones lifestyle for the better. Proud of that dude... I've got a set of Scotty Rod holders, bases and backings for his sober ass if needed. Let me know.

Friends and family supporting one through something like this can make all the difference. 

I offered to collect money via PayPal and give to Jack.  There is still time to donate something.  PM me and I will give you my email address for Paypal.  Looks like Jack got the Kayak cost covered and others have donated additional items to provide a better fishing experience.  I know some spots cost money to park and gas money to get there could be beneficial to help make sure he gets out there and uses the equipment he will be given. 

I only know of Sledge based on what I saw a couple years ago at Shelter Cove.  It wasn't positive but I trust the guys here that say he is good at heart and needs our support. 

Nick and I will send 20$ and we will give our new friend Sledge a game clip with a rope attached so he can properly secure his future lingzillas!
