Just wondering if anyone with an outback, pa, revo, or sport fishes with their sailing mast? Maybe sail to  to their location for the fun of it  then furl it up and fish? Just wondering if the mast and/or ama gets in their way while fishing? Too much clutter maybe?

I've got the adventure (no island) and have the small Hobie sail. It's possible to use the sail to good effect, either to help you get somewhere with less effort, or even to troll. It does add to the clutter and complexity, and ideal conditions can be hard to find. So, I haven't used it nearly as much as I thought I would when purchased last spring. My plan is to spend a few days in the off season just sailing, to get a better feel for what is really possible...
I don't like stuff that sucks.
