I'm extremely proud to announce the openning of my wife's new business, Mosley's Cafe. Yeah, I'm hear to promote it, but It's a cool spot I think many here would enjoy.

What does this have to do with Kayaks? Well it's located on the Oakland Estuary and is open for Boat-in visits.

It's also directly adjacent to the Grand Boat launch of Alameda so one could get some food & coffee on land before heading out to paddle. She even prapares brown bag to-go lunches for boaters.

I've made it a new past time to circle Coast Guard Island for a kayak pub crawl; Breakfast and coffee at Moseley's, followed by a quick rattletrap troll to Brotzit for German brunch and beer. Then to Quinn's Litehouse for peanuts, and well, more beer. Then back to the Grand ramp to go home and nap.

Search Moseley's Cafe Alameda and visit the web site for hours/location etc.

You should pick a couple dates and make a hook-up; funnel the cattle :smt044. Anyways that sounds like a great time for a bunch of folks. What is the total distance for that paddle?

Yeah. I do want to make a hook-up; pending my availability. A crew of paddleboards are expected to show up tomorrow. We've been joking about an NCKA mashup like mopeds vs. motorcycles.

The paddle I described is short; maybe 2 miles. That's kind of the beauty of it in the case of gorging on foods and libations.

hardly ever in the east bay but this looks fun will keep it in mind when considering something to do in the area.  helpful if you could post some pix of the launch/landing, facility, parking, etc.

Nice clean website btw!

Easier to stay onboard a kayak, unless you forget to use your drain plug.
