Anyone ever play with one of these?  The 6X6 "Banana split" buggy?
I've been watching a lot of U-tubes of these things!  I really want one! Problem is no where to really run the darn thing.  I watched a video of a bunch of people driving mostly the 8 wheelers over the Rubicon.  One guy braved the trail in a 6X6 and he got beat up!  As tough as the Rubicon trail in, it presented no real challenge to any of the 8 wheelers.
Some of the rigs were beefed up a bit with steel rings attached to the wheel rims to protect them, and they couldn't run the tires with low pressure, (Due to rocks damaging the tires and rims) so the rides were pretty rough (The buggy's suspension is in their low pressure tires)
I got a kick out of watching the video as I've been over the trial 5 times in the past in my CJ.
