I was fishing in lake Hennessey yesterday and I caught a fish I've never seen before after doing a little research I found out it was a pike minnow. I have some pictures are these fish supposed to be in the lake? I went out this morning and caught three more and one was almost 5 lbs.

If they're naturally occurring in Conn Creek, etc., then probably yes. That doesn't mean you shouldn't rip the gills out of every one of those turds you get in the boat.

Yeah, they're most likely supposed to be there. They're native to the Napa River and very well may have been impounded in Conn Creek when the dam was built. Damn, that last one is a beast !!!

As far as I know, the only place they're supposed to be is about 40 feet up the bank, and rotting after being picked over by raccoons and crows.

Everyone harks on them, how many have tried to eat them? They might be awesome! They used to feed prisoners in Maine lobster....im just sayin!
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

A lot of the Asian community eats them.but there's not much that swims that Asians don't eat.as far as fishyness goes there not that bad,I'd rather eat a pike over a carp any day but they have a lot of bones
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Used to be a squawfish derby in Red Bluff on the sac. They'd cook up a bunch of it, I never tried it though.

I've got a buddy who traded a couple that was bound for the garden for a flat of strawberries.
