Hit the surf at Manresa for five more decent perch from 11-13" (released).I also lost a jumbo when a wave slack-lined me. The cold and fog sure made it hard to get out of bed this morning, but it was a fun session.

Since the close of rockfish there isn't much action in the bay.A few party boats have been going for squid and there's always crab/dab combos, but I'm saving my money for new gear at the shows.I guess I'm also kinda prefishing for the Sandcrab Classic which is rumored to be happening sometime in Feb.Anyone know for sure?

great pics and report!
I noticed the water was real clear last week.
I was surfing in the fog today and and saw a cormarant nail a sculpin/cabezone type fish and barely
gulp it down. then I saw some fry jump ahead of me, and last week I saw some 2lbers being
landed in clear water. maybe somebody is trying to tell me it's time to go fishing again?!
