I heard that the DFG has closed the coastal rivers in Napa, Sonoma, and Mendo Counties due to low flows.
Here's the number: 707-944-5533

Just a heads-up.

Time to do a raindance.

Yep.  When the Russian dips below 500 cfs it triggers a low-flow closure.  We need rain BAD!

So....does this mean the Russian is closed too, or is it open due to the constant outflow from lake mendo?

Nope the russian is the only one open so expect a lot of pressure.

Ok, Next Friday we all meet at Lake Mendo in the parking lot for a rain dance. I'm not sure if we need to do a rain dance practice first, but then again, if we do a practice and it rains, maybe we won't need to do the actual rain dance. Then again, if we do a practice rain dance and it doesn't rain, does it mean we are doing it wrong?

Anyone here with rain dance experience?
