Glad you're okay Alex!

I almost ate it two weeks ago while launching out there and someone came through and helped me out with carrying my kayak away from the stairs. Never really got his name but thanks!

Hey glad you're ok. Looking forward to seeing the story as it might help me out like seaweed said. Some of us could use the information since we will be getting out there this weekend.  Im also curious to what kind of shoulder injury. I have a really bad left shoulder, and it gets dislocated on average once every three weeks doing random things. And i think about it all the time when im kayaking. Thats why i always go out with someone. Just in case something goes down.  I had trouble when i practice self rescue as well, but eventually got it down without injuring myself.  Overall, glad the guys had your back.

Sounds like you need surgery to fix that Bob. I had surgery 30 years ago and it's been good ever since.

Kris , you are the Man. In the process of pecking away on the report now. Dude, you were like a tug boat  pulling in a barge. :smt001 Thanks from the bottom of my heart Bro. Guess it all about me boating for about 6 months I am guessing ? Matt, nice job giving Kris a break and Matt doing an excellent job swimming me in the rest of the way. It is very heart warming with all the positive responses. I haven't told my wife exactly what happened because I don't want her to worry when I go out. Family really went through my mind deeply during this experience. Glad I didn't lose them and gained a few more with you guys.

Bro you don't know how many times I was worried. I couple times I thought I wasn't going to make it. I just kept getting mad and thinking about my family and how it would hurt them. For being in the water for the amount of time I was in , thoughts of family and friends helped in driving me forward.

Props to Jesse and his pops for getting to ya and doing all the hard work by pulling in that flooded yak. That thing must have weighed a ton!
