Sherman Lake hookup 11/8 Sunday

I'm thinking of fishing Sherman Lake on Sunday AM.  I plan to launch around 7 AM. There's a lot of rip rap and tules close to the ramp area and sometimes an abundance of stripers and black bass.  At this point the WX looks good with wind around 5 mph........who's with me?

My favorite place for stripers. I like fishing outside the lake on the river side. I fish lipless crank baits, topwater baits, and rip baits against the tule's on a out going tide. That area is a large flat all the way to Sacramento Pt. On low tide paddle towards the river and it drops to 25 ft. I bounce large soft jerk baits along the sloping transition from deep water to the flat of the river.
I would love to go but Sunday's not for me.

Looks like the rain is predicted to start falling between 8-10 AM.  Not sure how much rain/wind there will be and how accurate the 4 weather web sites I've checked are. Seeing how I'm in Woodland I think I'm going to pass on this trip.  I'll try to post up another hookup in the future for this area.

I think my wife and I will be heading out to Sherman lakes too. I have hooked into some bigguns drifting jumbo minnows off the shoals and into the deeper channels. Hope to see A few of you out there. Good luck!
