Just read this article, thought it was interesting. Wonder if we are going to see similar changes on the west coast.

while I was deck handing in Alaska this summer, captains with tens of years of experience were saying the water was TEN degrees warmer than usual. We were also seeing species like sunfish and other warmer water species fairly frequently that were extremely rarely or never seen before this year there.
