I really feel badly for taking pleasure in the misfortune of others ... unless its the DODGERS !!! :smt044
We had 2 more weeks of ball than giants fans did--I'd say that's you're misfortune.   Notice how no one jumped in your shit when we clinched at AT&T.  I guess 5 rings means we can act like we been there before.
Well, you can sure tell that Fall is in the air in L.A. The nights are in the low 70's, USC has a coach in trouble, and the Dodgers are out of the playoffs.

Been there before ? The Giants have ... eight times ... and three of the last five. But who's counting ?

Seriously though, its baseball and we're just playing around, man. Had the Dodgers won a series, I would have expected nothing less than an offseaon's worth of s-talking from Dodgers fans.

What's fun is reading the Dodger Fans comments in the LA Papers Way to support your team ?

Quote
Anybody who manages people could have predicted the Dodgers' demise in the postseason. On display in their final loss was a disgruntled player screaming at his manager in the dugout, a superb pitcher who is on record as interested in making even more millions a year, and a gaggle of overpaid sole proprietor players. This is not a team and it showed when it counted most. The Dodgers team may be unmanageable in its present form. But it could have been managed a lot better to perform as a team; from the owners all the way down to the field.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

I can see how people would say that if they were......say......Oakland a's fans.  But when you're a Giants fan you get to celebrate huge wins, championships and predictable dodger post season implosions.

It's very exciting. :)

I feel bad for Cubs fans. Not in a gloating way. But in a sympathetic way.
