Well I pulled the trigger on something I've wanted to do for years and bought my first kayak.  I picked up a factory 2nd Ocean Kayak Trident 13.  I do a lot of diving and mainly wanted a good dive platform for spearfishing and abalone diving, but I'm realizing it will open up all kinds of doors for fishing as well.  Catching some Sacramento River salmon has been on my brain for the last couple of weeks lol.  Anyway, just posting up my intro to say hey and see if there's anyone else on here that lives in Sacramento that may want to head out and dive or fish sometime.

Thanks Eric, I comment occasionally on your fb posts lol.  Nice trophy abs the other day by the way.  I've been living in Eureka the last 3 months and I've been wanting to hit the water again and get some abs before I go back home but it looks like the water won't be cooperating before then.  Friday looks awesome but I'll be stuck in the office all day. lol  I'll be up to hunt the great north coast again sometime soon I'm sure.

Welcome indeed. I'm down by Miller park. Also retired, so give me a shout for some on the water time.  Dan

Haha, thanks for the help with that weird registration issue Jim.  Can't wait to add more red to that yak.  Lemme know if you ever come up the coast for abs.

Thanks Bill, for letting me pick your brain on the ncuh board since I couldn't message you on here.  I wound up getting the lowrance elite-5 gold 83/200 for $399 on sale at west marine. Couldn't pass that deal up!

Awesome!  Let me know if you run into questions.  Another Lowrance Pro-Staff'er is in the Sac. area too ... Mike (wingshooter).
