Plan to take my new Eddyline out for a "spin".  Companies are welcome.

I pussed. Craig frightened  me .  . Lol. Anxiously awaiting the reports so that i can whine and cry in my mind that i didnt make it. Ok, over it. Now i am anxiously awaiting thurday/friday my next days off. .Ocean or Alamor ?

Got to SWS at 7:00 and saw the 3 amigos just launched and heading out.  Met Paul & his friend at the parking lot and we launched around 7:30am.  Since this was my maiden voyage with the Eddyline, I target mainly RF's outside the kelp beds by the point.  At one time there're hundreds of birds chasing bait fish toward me and I was in the middle of this action when my pole went bendo and line was spilling out fast for about 5 seconds then what ever there was got off! Saw 2 pods of Dolphins and 1 pod of Seals that "acting" like Dolphins. Lost 1 nice hitchhiker Ling close to surface and end up for the day with a varieties of Rf's mostly Blues.  Will post some pictures later when I got home this evening.

Was good seeing you Sonny. When I pulled in and saw that Eddyline I instantly knew it was you. The bait was thick! I chased the birds around yoyoing, hoping for a Bonita or record book soupfin shark all day. Ended up going home with about 30 mackerel to 3 lbs

The whales where everywhere too. Beautiful day otw

I caught a bonito but didn't know the regs to I let it go. It was really really weird catching it. Even out of the water it was vibrating intensely fast like it was still swimming. Not flopping just trying to swim. About 12" long or so.
