Well, tell him that he'd be welcome to fish Norcal waters any time. Heck, we'd even loan him a kayak & gear and give him a ride to the beach!!! 

hey guys.. thanks for tuning into the show.. its pretty real so far.. yes you can see some editing flaws.. but some of these issues are very real and have been going on for some time as pole pol ementioned... my time is coming up.. I am going to snap hard for being disrespected on the water.. its real.. I was in a bad mood and got egged into it... not happy about it but it is real.. so don't get all mad at me when you see me snap... all in all its a good thing for us,, a good thing for Hawaii and a good thing for kayak fishing.. I think it will open up a lot of doors for everyone.. thanks again for watching.. MAHALO

I was guessing 'culture' but it was good to hear it from someone local to the situation.  Thanks for sharing!!! 

Watched one show and doubt I'll watch another.  Just can't handle the reality bs. But hey, that is what our society wants now. Just guess I'm old.

Unfortunately, that cultural aspect is never explained to us mainlanders watching. So the Hawaiians end up looking rather petty fighting over fishing grounds with only 2 kayakers fishing in the entire shot.

my belief has always been the ocean is a big place.. I definitely don't own it.. and if you got the time to go out and fish then by all means go get some... i think fighting over the ocean is a stupid thing too.. I wear my PFD as a personal choice.. I wear it all the time... this is not required by the law... I believe people have the right to wear or not to wear the PFD...  that's there decision... I am just as real dude trying to do my best in the making of a reality show for Discovery... Bushy, Pole Pole, and MSGDan all know me pretty well and my personality. with that being said I am happy about my character so far but am sure I am going to look like ass when I lose my temper.. that's real... I got to say this was not an easy job.. in fact we lost a lot of money to do it.... we just tired to do the best we could... we all took a chance and rolled the dice.. I do know who I am.. what I am capable of... and proud of the work we did.. thanks for watching the show.. MAHALO

I enjoy the show and continue to watch it, as far as I am concerned if I am at home on Friday night mine as well watch some kayak fishing, but my DVR is set to record it.

Boggie-D I hope you catch your monster marlin. and give us some info in case any of us want to hire you as a guide next time we go to the islands.

  That one character that chased Jon-Jon off the beach seems to think he owns the ocean. Now if Jon-Jon was on his privately owned property or beach then I can understand him chasing him off.  Didn't appear to be that.
