Fun While it Lasted

I am kinda of relieved to post this, It's Bang Time is done. I won't be doing the podcast anymore, letting the website go, etc. Lots of factors into my choice to do it, including lawsuits, death threat emails (5-10 a DAY) that I should post just for fun, scheduling guests, and technical issues with the studio and the website. It just stopped being "fun" and that is not what I wanted. I wanted to have fun, and it was a blast for a year! It let me go on some trips that I never would have, opened opportunity for me and the kids, and I met a lot of great friends in the process. Health issues also came into play.
I was thinking of keeping the website and keep up with the recipes and blog, but decided to not do that. Going to be doing what I want, and that is hunt and fish just about everyday! So, with early goose opening tomorrow morning..........IT's BANG TIME!

Sorry to hear this Rich.  I enjoyed listening to your Podcast, but if it isn't fun for you anymore then it's time to move on.

+1.  Though now I'm curious to read some of them.  Having never written or received a death threat myself, I wouldn't really know what constitutes a "quality" death threat from a shitty one.  Rich, maybe if you posted the death threats they could be used as a sort of webinar to train people how to write solid death threats  .

Lol, most are death wishes, some are direct threats that I did send to FBI because that is the protocol. Some were fun back n forth rants that look like second grade level, but all were unique. My buddy at Predator Quest and I compared several recently, his were better, bit I don't have a tv show.

Bummer I just recently started listening to back episodes. I've been waiting for something new. It sure made for good listening while on the road with all the music on the radio being  absolutely shit now days.

Gotcha, mostly just death wishes. Good to see that people have only half-hearted conviction in their dislike of others. "I really, really, really would like to see you meet your demise, but I really, really, really have no means to make that happen." Again, maybe its time for them to take a class or maybe volunteer or maybe build something. Or just drink more.

I got tired of trying to figure out if it was on AM or FM.
Spent way too much time distracted driving trying to find it.
Actually sorry to hear of it Rich, but so many of our fun times are ruined by whiny @ss wipes and politics that most times it's more fun to have fun in the shadows........feel free to add a perv joke there.
Glad you got some positive things out of it and glad to see you are always thinking and acting outside the box.
