I stumbled on to this ,anyone have any experience with this

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

I'm a sucker who bought one of that many many months ago. I bought the heavy duty magnet and it still can't hold the transducer in place. Not good on Ocean when you are paddling. it constantly moves(the 2 magnets) and at times if you hit a kelp or object the 2 magnets will separate and it's hard to get them back together on the water. it works if you are not moving or moving very very slow.

with this being said I still use it on my other yak that does't have FF installed. Good for lakes I would think.

I think my brother uses something like that on his kayak, but he only fishes midwestern lakes.

I got one and it works. If you are out in big swell or in kelp it will knock it loose
