My wife was diving Catalina Island this past week, saw one off Two Harbors. Her first underwater sighting!

another good reason to never go out solo (experience can only help so much). if there was no boat around who knows if the shark will come back since he was taking on water. I prefer to fish with a buddy or two and they have to be in plain sight. I dislike fishing in group when each go their own ways.

I had a little scare yesterday at OC. ATD and I were fishing north of OC when out of nowhere there was a boil/swirl about 10' behind me. Big with a lot of power if that makes sense. Close to 10' in diameter too. Adam was looking right at me when it happened and saw it going on, but no fins or fish were seen. We had not seen any fur bags around or anything else to explain it. After that I had a pretty uneasy feeling for quite a while. Shark, whale or ????

It's been an unprecedented year it seems.       Going solo just ain't smart these days.

Repeat "it was a whale" over and over and over, until you actually start to believe it...

I got scoped good by a 12-13 footer this morning. Water was super clear and its caudal fin broke the surface as it turned and swam under the boat, lit up like tin foil. Shark shield seems to work as no contact.

I think you farted so hard you blew out your scupper plug! Like a balloon ya blow up and let go, goes in fast circles... Bet the bite died.
