Another reminder to keep your stringer of fish in the kayak rather than in the water.

Second recent video I've seen with an aggressive Hammerhead down in SoCal. How much time your fish spend in the water is a personal choice, depending on conditions etc, just as overexposure to the sun and the risk of skin cancer etc is a personal choice. However haven't these people heard of a thing called a life jacket??? :smt012

In the game of biggest fish, if you can't enjoy routinely gettin' your ass handed to you, by great fishermen, then you don't belong in the NCKA.

That's one aggressive shark...
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?

Fishing La Jolla and County line I've noticed that only about 10% of kayak anglers use them. Hardly anyone uses vhf radios either. I don't get it

When I see stuff like that, I can appreciate the Safety First climate of NCKA.  That guy was alone, no PFD, no radio, a comedy or errors.

This recent one does show the Hammerhead going after the stringer.

I don't see hats on these guys either. They don't get heat stroke in sunny SoCal ???

Is it possible he baited the shark for the pics. He could have seen that shark and put a bait trail out to get pictures. and then the shark kept following for more food. Kinda like feeding a bear great until you run out of food. Just saying I think there might be a reason the shark is following his yak. Maybe he had a leaky bottle of Procure on the yak. I hear procure is coming out with a new flavor Called Seal Shit.  :smt044  :smt044  :smt044

Grrrrrr. Stop. It. Already. I feel better now. So much, err, funny biz in SoCal this season. It's making us SO popular with the local tour operators.
