I bought a designer edition of a road trip at the Homer D when it went on ultra clearance. My only issue with it is thst the lid is so low profile there is barely room for a big tritip. I also bought the rack style grill to replace one of the BBQ Grillls so you can heat up a pan as well.

yeah the low lid was/is a concern. I do like the rack add on. I just want one that runs on propane, has a stand and that I can collapse to store in the trailer. Those are the top mush haves

Wally world has one that looks serviceable

Yes, the Magma or Kuma grills are great, but I think he was looking at the other grill for the "fold flat" storage capabilities of it as opposed to overall functionality.

I have seen them fairly low priced at Big 5 every now & then.  saw one today but it was only like $10-20 off normal price.

I could go with tabletop. Something better than the 29 dollar weber with the wire legs and a 250 all stainless model

I would probably buy this model instead of the larger one I have. THis one seems a little less bulky but I still enjoy the bigger one.

Yeah that was the one I as looking at. I have a combo unit (small bbq and single burner) its just not enough grill space for a family....Still on the hunt.

Still looking for something myself.  May just buy the Weber go-anywhere and do the upgrades to make it like the old one.  But a bit more space would be nice too.

A coworker of mine has the Q1000 - I find that I prefer the Go-Anywhere, the taller lid on the edges seems to allow more capacity if you are doing closed lid cooking.
