Saturday 3pm greenhorn @ ROLLINS. Headwaters swap/delta sunday! Partial Report

Blitzkrieg fishing weekend!     

Friday night after work 6:30pm-ish till 2am at port of sacramento (off Jefferson) Was pretty much a bust... slow and no for striper. 3 fish for me and a few for Rich... to soon I guess

Sat morning off to camp far west for bass and rumored striper 6:30am till 2ish WOW so many bass! Larger 17-20" today Rich got the big one

Sat evening, Rollins lake  for 18" crappie and Bycatch. Greenhorn access off Hwy 174 3:30-4ish till??? Tough fishing last night! Water dropped 1 foot while we were loading lo leave. Some fish caught but the better bet would be camp far west. Rollins has HEAVY boat traffic

Sunday, Headed out for a hit and run @ Headwaters swap meet 10am Gotta see the new eddyline boat), then hit the delta Sac River/Walnut Grove after, chasing striper, bass, Salmon (Chinkhoes ) high tide 12 low 5pm. give it a shot? Join me? Super slow and no show for fish. Small bass all over. No worries though, got to paddle the delta and had a great time at the swap and on the water...

As a whole I drove 300 +- miles. Paddled 32 miles and slept 16 hrs from 5am friday till sunday night 10pm... One hell of a run, Carrie and the girls came home a day early so here ends the fishing Blitzkrieg!

Sounds more like a Vegas or extended Baja weekend 

I leave on my Baja extended weeken don Thursday.  Three days fishing Los Barriles.  Sounds like fun to me!

Sounds like a good time! I'll be watching for more details, maybe I can make it out Sunday in my kayak (read: aircraft carrier), depending on where you head on the delta!

Penny bait has lots of Jumbo minnows! Who's in tonight. I'll have the lantern going and paddling is safe and easy at the port. Cabriolet will not be there tonight Ford truck, carpooling in... see ya all tonight...
 

hey Weimarian, I'll try to make it out there tomorrow. My truck is have problems running. I'll check it out tonight, so I can go out tomorrow. I'll be in a lime green/blue/black cuda 14.
