Going to be in Cayucos and thought I might take my kayak and fish abit. Has anyone fished this are? Any places to launch safely?

Couple placed to safely launch. South swells have been pretty common lately and makes it just more of a timing thing but been really nice once on the water.

Just north of the Ucos pier is one option and the other is Windmills which is located about 2-3 miles to the north and there is a windmill on the water side of the highway just bring wheels and wheel the yak to the water. Some decent fishing in that area.

Yep, but can be pretty mellow. All depends on swell size.
