Wanted to let you all know that Shark Shield will be putting on a presentation of their product, the latest research, answering questions AND providing free beer and pizza at Red Triangle Spearfishing on Thursday, September 17th.

I got my SS at Kayak Connection's Shark Shield presentation last year (or early this year, don't exactly recall).  These guys are great. They honestly answer all questions and don't misrepresent their product or mislead users.  The special pricing is nice too.  I highly recommend this presentation if you considering this product.

Ive had one for about five yrs ago. I worry about battery life. I got a great deal as the box was damaged. I think half price. Just the peace of mind is worth it. I used it today as well. One thing I can tell you it doesn't deter whales. I had one about 8 ft from me today doing a drive by.

On that note I will tell Big Jim something. We have WSB here out of Leffingwell.  They seem to be hook shy but not Kayak shy. I saw them on Tuesday they were closer to the surface. One person on CCKF got a couple of pictures of them today.

Very interested.  Too bad I'm on daddy duty that night (though my two boys would be stoked out of their minds to go to a dive shop full of spearguns and watch videos of sharks biting live wires. . . .)

I will try to attend IF I can find a place to stay with the HOW trailer since I need to be at San Pablo on Fri morning for an event.

gonna miss this again.  ironically, i'll be on a fish/surf trip down south in jamala beach.  would've been nice to have on this trip.
