Finding myself going to Andiron with some friends and family this weekend and suspect I might need to, uh, "break away from the group for a bit". 

Thinking of taking some surfcasting stuff if there's any compelling reason to do so. 

So, to the hive mind I ask, "is there any compelling reason to take some gear up to Andiron"?
