I think 10 posts should be required before you can post anything. That ought to cut down on the riff-raff. Well, at least any new riff-raff...

I fixed it for you.

I feel that instead of paid membership, until you hit 1,000 posts, it is mandatory that you bring beer, lumpia, fish taco items for Jack's Shack, and carry kayaks for ANY member that has one eye and a short rod.
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

That's already a rule. High time we enforce it.

How exactly would that work?  Just out of curiosity.

I'm pretty sure I could make it work somehow!   :smt002

Imagine a board that only newbies with <10 posts can see, and that's all they can see, and they are required to only talk to each other in this board for 10 post before graduating to the big time.  That would be pure evil.   :smt077

I'm not so concerned about "pimping" out info, because like a tire kicker, I am interested in locations and technique, but I haven't gone out there to try it in forever.. so I'm guessing most of the quiet guys like me read, but never act on the information shared.....your secret hunting spots are safe.
I do enjoy the vids and the fish porn and great stories...thanks all.

I am very similar. I dont have my set-up yet, so I dont have a whole lot to contribute (but I try to when I can). Right now I am trying to get my book learnin done, so when I am ready to go out, I don't kill myself and can start contributing on a deeper level. But for now, I am gonna get back to lurking...
