First I would like to thank Eric of "Loleta Eric's Guide Service" for two fantastic days on the water.  I have been on numerous charter boats and found out that they do not even come close to the professionalism, knowledge, and shared interest and passion I experience when going out with Eric.  Eric has introduced me to several new areas to kayak fish for salmon and rockfish and his local knowledge of these areas is just phenomenal.

Day 1) Went out with Eric and two other of his clients from Lodi to try for salmon.  I lost my first 4 salmon hookups before landing 2.  I switched over to a barbless iron and caught a nice ling, blacks, and a surf perch.  I also had one salmon hook up, which I lost.

Day 2) Met Wizz on the beach and we went out and joined the fleet.  Wizz caught 2 early and I caught 2 later.

Day 3) I fished with Matt Swayze, Matt D, and Rob.  Matt S had his limit by 7:30.  Rob lost one by his board,  which I totally could relate to since I lost two like that on day one.  Matt D and I both hooked up at the same time and I land a fifteen pound salmon and after almost a two hour fight Matt D lands an eight foot thresher.

Day 4) My brother and I go out with Eric.  I hook into 2 salmon and was able to land one.

I am not into taking pictures, but, Eric took some and posted them on his Trinidad fishing report.

So here's a guy that constantly ranks at the top of our local tourneys. No doubt about his skill level and he hires one our own to learn some local knowledge and perhaps a few lesser known tips... and what does he do? Starts off with kudos to Eric. Your a class act Terry.... :smt023 :smt023 I figured if anyone was going to come home with some pink meat it'd be you. Sounds like you were in some great competent company. WTG!

Terry - I had a great time with you, Bob and Matt on Monday, and yesterday with you and Ron was another totally epic day.  Thank you so much for the endorsement.

You are the kind of guy that all of us want to be.  Much respect to you, and thanks again for supporting me in this whirlwind of a dream job!   :smt001

I'll get some pics on this post after I make dinner.   :smt003
