I can only imagine the size of the fillets off that toad, let alone the cheeks  :smt007.

i remember you walking up with the bag and i was thinking he's got something big in there.  when you turned it upside down and that monster slipped out everyone did a :jawdrop

CONGRATS Marco!!!  She is a BEE'UT!

oh......andWELCOMEtoTHEclub!  :smt008
I'm right on you're heels bro. :smt002
I'll let you stay KING OF THE LINGS. Good to be king :smt003

Toads like that are a rare thing on the California coast nowadays. I'm sure a LOT of rock fish died in those jaws over the years. Did the Aleve work for you? Hope your back is doing better. It can take the fun out things in a hurry. Glad you made the most of your outing Marcos.

Yes, the Aleve helped on the ride home. The back is very stiff but nothing like last weekend. I haven't been able to unload my kayaks yet and I even missed a few days of work but its slowly getting better everyday. :smt009
It was great talking with you Glen.
Saw this on FB, and wanted to say that I'm totally stoked for you Marcos!  What a monster linger.  40+ inchers sure don't come easy.  I can only imagine the size of the fillets off that toad, let alone the cheeks  :smt007.

Yeah, baby! Right on, Marcos, that's a super catch! So if your PB was a 40, and you're calling Adam: still "King", what was his?

I don't remember (OLD syndrome?) FHunter's biggie. I wish I coulda seen your 40 in person, too. Bummed I couldn't be there this year..
