This boat is named Steelhead out of Monterey and is up in Ft Bragg right now.  It has a large zodiac that can be lowered into the water.  That is one bad @ss boat.  I think this is the one people say they see down south all the time.  I guess there is going to be some extra enforcements up here after other members said our officers are real friendly.  I saw some extra enforcement at the ramps so hope everyone has their ducks in a row.

I believe they have 2 boats. One for the north and the other for the south. The one down south is the " Thresher "

Our towns boat is next to it and looks tiny in comparison.

I've had the steelhead roll up on me before. I was on a power boat which is extremely rare for me and I had left my license in my pfd where I always keep it. Luckily I had the receipt on me and they cut me some slack and let me go in spite of my transgressions. That boat is an absolute beast and DFG was very merciful :smt008

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

They have 5 of them

If I win the lottery I am getting one.  My staff will make dinner while I take the zodiac for a fun run.  I better start playing the lottery.  I wonder how many kayaks I could get on for a tuna run.

Tuna Run, Tuna Run!!! The info page says it has 7 bunks. It may need a retrofit after you get it, Duane.

You just jumped a whole level of cool!
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”

they come in fast and deploy the zodiac for sure--had my Niece on the ocean for her first ever paddle in about 100 Risso's -they were decent to us and she thought it was cool kid stuff to get checked

Kinda funny that the moved the Steelhead up the coast...and almost immediately, a goddamn whale gets stuck in the harbor...in the exact spot it's normally berthed!
