Hookups and Fishing Reports on the same forum?

You do remember that Polepole hates Tapatalk, right?  I stopped using Tapatalk ever since I made the mistake of upgrading and lost NCKA.

Everyone has their own way.  Not the biggest fan of tapatalk either but do like it better than logging on a computer and searching each thread for unread posts.  It works for basic stuff and gives me unread threads in order of time posted.  Once I skim them I hit mark all read and I am done.   

I've got the old paid app. They don't support anymore. I have the newest free version aswell. If for some reason my old school app won't work I will go back to computer version.

Almost as stupid as the suggestion I heard someone say at Shelter Cove potluck, "people need to label their dishes, so we know which ones are gluten free."
 Maybe we need a peanut free table, gluten free table, and a vegan table. People are interesting sometimes. Not a fan of complainers, maybe they need their own flag.

I'll complain I don't get to fish much anymore. I'll complain in work a desk job and let myself get out of shape. I'll complain that Stockton is a shitty town. Oh wait....I own my life and need to file complaints with the boss of my life and not on NCKA or facebook.

Sorry, I have to ask the stupid question. Newbie here. I understand fishing reports. Hookups are not quite clear. Do we mean hookups in hooking up a fish and telling about it or hookup wanting to meet people to go fishing?

There used to be separate boards one was for hook ups. As in hooking up with others to go fish an area.
 Then there was another board just for reports.
 A year or two ago the two were combined,so now the lurkers are  pissed that they can't just get free info without having to read other post.

Why make extra work for administrators? I use Recent Topics, Show Unread and search function. I vote leave it the way it is.

If we were to add a section it should be called "Fish and Bitch" - follow the format of Craigslist Rants and Raves, get it off your chest, and it doesn't have to make any sense except to the person who wrote it. People do need an outlet sometimes. 

No need to create a new topic for bitching.  Just post it on this thread and it will never die.

One thing that I think is great for the combining of the reports is that if someone doesn't do report after the hookup has past, you can jump in there and ask them how it went.
