Hookups and Fishing Reports on the same forum?

Public board could be combo Hookup/Report, then just make the Members Hookups and Reports seperate.

I was thinking about just doing away with public boards, but let's leave that for another discussion.

I don't really mind the current setup.  I mostly use this forum on my phone via tapatalk. I mainly use the timeline function, so even if it was changed, itd still be same for me. Im here for all the info ncka has to offer, not just hookups reports or pics. If i see a hookup that i won't be able to attend anyway, i just scroll past it, sometimes i browse it anyways just in case there are hidden pics and reports.

I mean, if i can spend hours on the water getting skunked, whats a few seconds of my life looking at possible ways not to get skunked?  At the end of the day, we are fisherman, and its called "fishing" not "catching".  Things don't always go our way, so we end up going back out and doing it all over again.

I think wipe out the public board altogether. If lurkers wanna see reports they can become a member and make 10 posts like everyone else.

Hook up, report, its all the same to me. If a post was made and in an area of interest, I followed it. Most posts stated day hookup was to be. So you knew when to look for PICS and report.

Yeah, I just don't want to muddy up this discussion here on this thread with another "fun" discussion.  Start another thread and let's have at it.

And my opion on it is who freakin cares worry about more important things. The hookups also turn into reports afterwards so its the same regardless. Worry bout fishin!

I kinda like it the way it is..If your hookup turns in to an epic day (or so I imagine), then you can post a big report.  If it's so so, you can post a few pics on the hookup thread without adding a new thread. If you skunk, then you can post nothing and hope that your thread gets buried quickly as you hang your head in shame (not that I have any experience with that *cough*    )

Either way, I'm just here to steal Michael Jackson's popcorn.

Shameful skunk hookups are my specialty! Especially when I'm fishing with Beerhunter. If it ain't broke don't fix it

It sure is funny to see which posts get the most replies.  Wow that was a long thread I missed because I was out catching dinner.  What if I just put my reports in this thread and see how convoluted it can get.

Ft Bragg salmon is still hit and miss and most give up and get some rock fish.  Westport is doing better but didn't want to go north today.  Grabbed these today.

Forgot to mention.  Don't see polls in tapatalk on phone which is my most frequent method of using.  I just scan unread posts as I never really liked looking stuff up the other way.  I would not be upset if public viewing was removed.

You do remember that Polepole hates Tapatalk, right?  I stopped using Tapatalk ever since I made the mistake of upgrading and lost NCKA.
