Hi everyone, my name is Philip Jones. I live in Carmichael and new to this site. I have been kayak fishing since I was little. Sold my kayak 6 years ago, join the US Army family, got out last year. I pick up a Cuda 14 in January and been fishing ever since. I'm always looking for other people going out.

Hey Phillip, welcome!

There are a ton of vets on here and even more crazy good guys.  As a Navy vet myself (coming up on three years out). NCKA is the closes thing I have found to "brotherhood" I had in the military. So... fit right in.   Also, check out the  Heroes On the Water (HOW) part on the site and come out with us...it's some great times and we'll hook you up. Also, invite any other friends that are vets too. We'll hook them up with everything they need from yak to  fishing  license to food.

Anyways,
I'm in rocklin and will be getting on the water soon (taking a break while my foot heals) let me know and we can get some trips going. Besides, there are a lot of NCKA around this area. 
Last thing.. Start paying attention to the tournaments. Great way to get out find some good fishing and good company
