I'm fishing La Jolla this weekend and have watched that video at least 3 times! I know it's not realistic to think that I have a chance at one but a boy can dream can't he :smt007 It's been hard to sleep at night cuz I got BFT, YFT and YT on the brain :smt008

Never pick up a chick in a bar? That's assisted catch, none of us would even be here if it wasnt for hops and barley  :smt044
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

I wasn't a fan of the way it ended either. After a battle like that it seems wrong to let someone else draw blood and hand it over. Still better than losing it and suffering the heartbreak though :smt010

My brother-in-law lives just over the hill from Del Mar. Maybe we can take over his house for a few days...

Thats an awful bold statement coming from some one who took a rod hand off from a guide in La Jolla to land a yellow tail rob. Atleast he got it to the boat on his own super man.

1st off sorry guys for adding to this.

Come on Rob, your a so called guide. I can see it now take a client fishing they get a nice fish, and your response is well maybe next time you will get a bigger one. Maybe don't talk sh!t to everyone else since really all you get is SMALL pacific halibut. I've seen you post countless times maybe next time you will get a big one and that's a 30lb cali hali. Way more of an accplishment then a chicken pac hali. Maybe it's your jelousy of other angers getting nice fish, not sure but Damn does it make you sound like a,  well I'll let the video talk.

Tight lines and good luck.
