Injured Firefighter/Kayak Fisherman

Hey Guys, Not sure if this is the best place for this.

Damien (username Fishon11) suffered an injury about two weeks ago while working on a fire over in Tulare. He was in critical condition and is improving but still has no use below his arms. He has been an active member on the Central Coast forum since it started and has attended a couple of the tournaments on the Central Coast. He loves this sport as much as the next guy and this his hitting me pretty hard and wanted to share with you. Just the days before this happened Damien and I were hanging out at work down at base camp for the Lake Fire and then this happened, Still can not believe it.

Derrick and I are working on setting up a fundraiser for the kayak fishing community to give to Damien to help him get through this hard time. Please keep Damien and his Wife and Son in your thoughts and prayers.

He certainly is a special person, his attitude is inspirational and you just know Were getting him back out on the water…
