and having a severe case of PTSD and in treatment, I know this is possible to turn around...

I am also in, for whatever is needed. Everyone is different and has different thoughts/ideas. Don donates his time, heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears to and for Veterans, so save all the negative BS, in PM's, to yourself.

Just let it out.  Venting is good.  I already told you in the past I will help when I can but don't have the patience and compassion to handle the heart breaking calls.  I am also broken.  Hang in there and don't beat up the members who private messaged you.  For what ever reason they responded they also felt passion for it.  I would hope you explaining why it upsets you would help others understand. 

I understand PTSD also and get reminded all the time how I can overreact or take stuff to personal but have also had some folks PM me things that I shouldn't have typed or could have worded differently.  I appreciated it even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear. 

Nice to have a different perspective and NCKA has provided many volunteers that have helped veterans.  But also remember that many of the past veterans that have been helped become active members of this forum and wouldn't want them reading about scenarios that involved them.  I had a therapist crying based on some crap I saw and I had to stop seeing her because they were being traumatized by events I witnessed.  Not saying that will happen here but if I was to read how this affected you and it was me you were helping I know I would become less involved and you wouldn't see me again.  Just a different perspective.  Don't tell me to F off unless it really makes you feel better.  Then have at it.

WE/I need people like you to be able to get perspective,,, I also think that your right about the vets begin discouraged seeing the drama and RAGE…

  BUt, it's also real and not BS,,, that is also something a VET can understand and I believe will respect the HONESTY…

so much BS is hidden in political correctness and political motives that will never change…

Meanwhile, service members die and and are in pain…

I hit my limit,,,

I get calls every week, sometimes days in a row…  there is LEGION, A Battalion, another ARMY of hurt, resourceful people who can become better than they ever were..

and their dying & suffering, as well as their families…

I'm obviously over the EDGE with RAGE,,,  I wanted to beat the shit of 3 punks trying to break into a car yesterday in SF… funny was, they laugh at first when I confronted them, saw the Maglite in my hand and the look on my face and ran…

I was Lucky again,,, Jail sucks,,,

I'm going to fade from here for while and go to where I get support…

  The Nor Cal HOW team has everything under control and I will be communicating with them

  Thanks for Everything, Me the NCKA Brother who PM'd me have work out it out and all is well enough… He was understanding too…

The last thing I want to do is take any of my RAGE against a NCKA brother… out of everything, metal Bands, the Fire Department , etc…  THis is the ONly BrotherHood I have found…

Good deal.  I am all about honesty and not sugar coating stuff, but others don't like that.  At least that's what my wife says. 

Did you find out where those guys lived.  I would be willing to pay for a spot on a charter boat if that helps.  If we got a few people to buy themselves a ticket along with another that could go along way and they provide all gear so minimal logistics besides the travel.   

I could talk to some charter guys in Ft Bragg and rent out a boat for the day if the travel is not to much of a burden.

I'm there with you and I sure wish other veterans organizations would give a hand every now and then with you.

I too am a 100% disabled veteran now but it is much better to live here in Texas. People are willing to go out of their way to help.

Good luck with these veterans. Me, I got a bunch of TBI veterans to take fishing next week and a HOW event tomorrow. Got to help with the fish fry!

i just got back from Seattle and am just now reading this. Fuck the beurocracy. I got $200 off the top of my paycheck to help these guys right now. Lets get them licensed,rigged and on the water asap.

  I can't get a hold of the Homeless Mountain Lion Vets...

  the last call to me asking for help may have been their last,

  maybe they got into treatment,  I did stress that to them...

maybe they found homes,

    maybe all is well...

  Sadly,  the statistics of an average of 22 vets a day that are killing themselves,

 Kind of puts it more in the corner of more sadness....

 So,

 No Rally will be done to collect fishing gear to give to homeless vets,


  And this KILL JOY needs a Friggen break from all of this...

I have only two other sad stories on my Desk right now I'm trying to do something about before I hang up my shingle of free help to the mountain of misery out there...

  A Navy Seal who also does great healing work with Military is on some hard luck...

 He and his wife, two boys, 6 & 8...

  Are going to be Homeless next Friday and need a place to live ...

 North Berkeley Area, Albany would be perfect, but their also looking at pitching a tent soon so...

they can afford anywhere from $1500 to $2000 a month...

   if anyone has a lead,

please hit me here as I will be away from ncka and everything for a while
