Yup sand sole for sure. You can tell by the little Mohawk the dorsal makes at the top of its head.

Cool fish nonetheless I love those little guys. They will attack a big bait to. I've mostly caught them drifting anchovies or smelt for halibut.

Congrats on that beast. You can catch loads of them in the fall/winter at fort baker.
