I have 2 Shimano TR 200G levelwinds. I'm putting line on them and one isn't winding evenly. By the time the spool is mostly full it is much fuller on one side than on the other. Any idea why? Should I just remove the levelwind?

You have to guide the line with your hand.even though it's a level wind.when you notice the line is getting low on the right pull the line in front of your reel to the right and vice versa
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Hmm, that's odd because I have 2 of these reels, and I'm winding the line from one to the other. One winds in perfectly each time and the other is the problem reel. Guiding it by hand if I'm fighting a fish would be tough.

once you guide it in after the initial spooling it should spool in the same
