Yes.  It is kind of hit or miss.  Can't beat the convenient though.  Now that my yak is stored in Halfmoon Bay Kayak, I'm more spoil.  I guess just have to chase small fish.

Hey Herb,
Thanks for the company and good safety mindfulness. Man, that ocean was choppy with some pretty big swells. Kinda felt like a surfer peaking over a swell to see what's next. Yeah, the current and the drift were a mother!!!
Glad we went out together, wouldn't have done it if by myself.
Sometimes you gotta call it a day ASAP!!

It really did not help when there was nobody around.  It was just the 2 of us for the longest time.   At the end, there were 2 private boaters at the green can.  After a while, even they ran home with their tail tucked between their legs.  I guess we got them beat.  at least we did not pay for gas, or launch fee  :smt044.
So Squidder.  Let us know how you do tomorrow.  I think you may want to pass on it.  Or at least go in the afternoon when the tide slows down a bit.  I'm sure they would be hungry by then.

I looked at the forecast and swell and took a pass. Just wasn't feeling it.
